Kyle Pimental, Senior Regional Planner

Strafford Regional Planning Commission is proud to announce the promotion of Kyle Pimental to Senior Regional Planner. Kyle began at SRPC in 2008 as an Data Collection Intern, specializing in transportation data collection and management. In 2009, Kyle was promoted to the position of GIS Technician, at which time he completed the Oyster River Nomination, submitted to NH Department of Environmental Services in 2010. Following this achievement, he was promoted to the title of Regional Planner. In this capacity, Kyle has completed hazard mitigation Plans for 14 of the region’s 18 communities, provided guidance on implementing climate adaptation strategies, implemented action items from the Isinglass River Management Plan, as well as provided assorted land use and GIS assistance to our region’s communities. He is also an active member of the Coastal Adaptation Workgroup, and was recently appointed to serve on the State of New Hampshire’s Coastal Risk and Hazards Commission.
