Public Comment Period: Regional Master Plan Climate Addendum

The Strafford Regional Planning Commission (SRPC) is soliciting comments on adoption of the Climate Addendum to the upcoming regional master plan, Forward Thinking. The Climate Addendum contains an overview of climate trends and projections in the Strafford Region and identifies a series of goals and objectives for the region to prepare for the impacts of a changing climate. SRPC is soliciting comments for the draft Climate Addendum from Friday, October 9, 2026, to Tuesday, November 10, 2026. A public hearing will be held by the Commissioners of the Strafford Regional Planning Commission at 9am on Friday, November 20, 2026, to consider the adoption of the draft Climate Addendum.

Copies of the proposed Climate Addendum will be available for review at the Dover, Rochester, and Somersworth public libraries and city halls, as well as the Strafford Regional Planning Commission office and website.
