Project Overview

SRPC is developing a decision- and conversation-supporting guide for communities in the Strafford region to balance housing development and natural resource conservation efforts. This resource will provide insights and inspiration, along with practical tools and decision considerations tailored our region. The resource will be guided by the question “How to better balance housing and conservation?” and will emphasize that housing development and conservation can be complimentary goals in a community.

This project will be completed alongside the upcoming regional plan project, Forward Thinking: A Comprehensive Plan for the Strafford Region.
