New Web Address for SRPC
We are now StraffordRPCnh.gov
After 26 years it is time for a new address! The Strafford Regional Planning Commission got our first website in 1998 with the domain name Strafford.org.
Why did we move to a .gov web address?
• SRPC is a political subdivision of the state and best practice for us to use a .gov domain that identifies our status.
• To improve our cybersecurity protections. Nothing has changed at SRPC except our domain name!
• Using .gov assures users that they are viewing trusted information or receiving official email communications.
• SRPC plans for all of Strafford County, which includes the Town of Strafford. Confusing, yes. Our new name will include “RPC” to help distinguish us.
• The Town of Strafford remains at strafford.nh.gov
• Strafford County government remains at co.strafford.nh.us
What you should do:
• Update SRPC’s staff contact information in your contact lists.
• Update any SRPC bookmarks you have saved in your browser. The existing “strafford.org” can be easily replaced with “StraffordRPCnh.gov.
The old strafford.org will redirect to straffordrpcnh.gov for a while, but make sure to save our new address!
