Public Comment Period: Amendments to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan

NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD & PUBLIC HEARING 

Regarding Amendments to the: 

Metropolitan Transportation Plan 

The Strafford Regional Planning Commission (SRPC) is holding a public comment period and public hearing on a draft update to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (Metro Plan). The updated plan will comprise regional planning goals, performance data, and future projects for years 2026-2050. This update is in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.  

A thirty-day public comment period for this document will begin on Friday, August 14, 2026 and end on Monday, September 14, 2026.  

A public hearing has been scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026 at 9:00 am at a meeting of the SRPC Commissioners. Interested parties can attend the hearing in-person or virtually:
