PFAS and Brownfields Presentation

Are you concerned about safe drinking water & impacts of PFAS, PFOS, and other “forever chemicals”?

The SRPC Brownfields Advisory Committee is holding a presentation on PFAS, and other forever chemicals at their next meeting. At the meeting, presenters will provide information on the mystery of PFAS contributors and how to get involved with local identification using the SRPC Brownfields Assessment Program. We will also hear about successful brownfields projects that have been done in our region. The event will include presentations from Laura Pasquine, NH DES Brownfields Project Manager, Tim Andrews, Nobis Group- Director of State and Municipal Services, and Michelle Mears, Somersworth Director of Planning and Community Development.

We are inviting members of town staff, boards, commissions and interested parties to join in the meeting which will be held at the SRPC office at 150 Wakefield St., Rochester, NH, with a virtual option available.
