Are you passionate about creating vibrant communities? Strafford Regional Planning Commission seeks a full-time regional planner to join our dedicated team.
This position will take a lead role in the following initiatives:
- Work directly with one SRPC community as their contract planner.
- Conduct research and develop regional plans, local master plans, studies, and special projects.
- Provide technical assistance to local land use boards and municipal planning staff.
- Assist with local and regional environmental planning projects.
- Conduct outreach efforts to support planning projects
The ideal candidate will have entry- to mid-level level experience in land use and environmental planning and enjoy working in a creative, innovative, and collaborative environment. They will also have strong communications skills, both oral and written, and a high degree of personal accountability.
Salary ($52,000-$67,000) is commensurate with qualifications and experience. For the right candidate, the position may be upgraded to a senior planner level. We offer a flexible work environment and excellent benefit package. The position shall remain open until it is filled.
