Brookfield Master Plan Support

SRPC staff provided technical support and maps for the Town of Brookfield’s Master Plan. The Planning Board led the update to the Master Plan, while SRPC staff provided feedback and technical support. SRPC staff reviewed the draft Master Plan developed by the Planning Board and prepared a brief report of recommended revisions and content that reflects current practices and state statute for Master Plans. Additionally, SRPC staff attended a workshop with the Board of Selectmen to discuss maps and data that could be added to the plan to support the discussions. At the workshop, the Board of Selectmen and other town officials reviewed existing data and maps and discussed what to include in the master plan. This workshop provided an opportunity to discuss discrepancies in the data, as well as which data would be most valuable in the Master Plan.
