The Strafford Regional Planning Commission (SRPC) seeks a qualified consultant to conduct a vernal pool inventory and develop associated maps using recent LiDAR data in the Town of Nottingham, New Hampshire. Local volunteers to conduct field verification in Spring 2026.

Q1: Is all the town’s needed data readily available to download OR it needs processing from the NH GRANIT site/data source?
A: Needs to be processed from NH GRANIT.
Q2:What is the total size of the data for the town?

Q3: Will the consultant need to print and deliver physical maps OR will providing (high-resolution digital) files to be used to print maps be sufficient?
A: Both will be needed.
Q4: To clarify, the consultant will be providing suggestions for next steps (i.e. static maps vs. mapper vs. interactive) but not implementing any suggestion – is this correct?

Q5: Could you please provide clarification as to the expectations for the educational guide?

Q6: Can all the work, including attending meetings, be done remotely/virtually?

a. Can this be done virtually (i.e. video attendance), or must it be in person?

A: The work cannot be completed until field verification occurs by a team of volunteers, which will happen in Spring 2026.
